Our vision is to meet the needs of the people within our communities and beyond with the necessary tools they need to make it in their communities.
Rebirth Ministry, Inc. (RMI) is an outreach ministry serving the urban and surrounding communities of Hartford, Connecticut. Rebirth Ministry Inc is an established faith-based resource center, offering program services to individuals and families of all ethnic backgrounds, male and female. promoting the establishment self-sufficiency. Program includes:

  1. Personal Employment Assistance: Individual career exploration, assessment and counseling, and national/local job search assistance from highly trained professionals.

  2. Unique Population Services: Provide services targeted to the needs of elderly and youth employment, TANF clients, person with disabilities, migrant workers, etc.

  3. Financial Management Workshops: Facilitate workshops focusing on writing resumes and cover letters, turning a job interview into a job offer, negotiating a higher salary, and tips on stretching income and maintaining a budget while searching for a job.

  4. Education and Training Services: Partner with local business that offer adult literacy/adult basic education, vocational/occupational training, career development, financial aid resources, and on-the-job training.

  5. Support Services: Provide information, support, and advocacy to parents, child care providers, and communities throughout the state regarding quality child care subsidy. Provide housing assistance/low income housing. Partner with local agency to provide first time home buyer's program, clothing, food, job placement, and health care/medical resources.

  6. Emergency Services: Provide assistance with rent deposits, short-term living arrangements, energy assistance and elderly care placement.
RMI will host a Youth Entrepreneur Seminar (YES) yearly to provide our youth with an opportunity to: 1) embrace business ownership, strengthen the economy of our neighborhoods, 2) learn the basics of a 'profitable' business plan, 3) open a savings account on site, 4) understand the value of good credit and investment opportunities, and 5) submit their resume's for summer apprentice employment. RMI is committed to excellence through personal enhancement and community development, exemplifying our dedication to improving the quality of life for many. This seminar will also benefit adults as well.
